Use Correct Paper

Take out all the paper from the input tray of your printer.

Examine the paper thoroughly as it should be clean and unused. The printer sometimes goes out of alignment if you use a photo, color or used paper.

Press the right arrow icon and select ‘Setup’ from your printer’s control panel.

Then select ‘Tools’ and touch the down arrow to select the option ‘Align Printer’.

The printer will print an alignment test page. Open the top lid of the printer and place the alignment test page on the scanner glass and the printed side should be facing downwards.

Close the lid and press ‘Ok’. The printer will then scan the alignment page.

Check if the alignment page displays a series of marks that are black and blue in color.

Examine if the colors look faded or inconsistent.

If the colored marks are inconsistent, you can replace one or both of the ink cartridges to fix the alignment issues.

Now, you can print a test page to verify that your printer is now properly aligned.
